LabelHand Terms & Policies
Customer Agreement
By using LabelHand, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these terms. No physical or electronic signature is required for this agreement to be legally binding.
- Marketplace Role: LabelHand functions solely as a directory and connection point between individuals or businesses (buyers) and independent contractors (sellers). We do not directly offer, supervise, manufacture, or inspect the services performed.
- Liability: Buyers understand that LabelHand is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, timeliness, or outcome of any service provided. All agreements are made between the buyer and the independent worker. Any disputes must be resolved between the two parties directly. If payment was made through PayPal, their dispute resolution system is available.
- Refunds & Disputes: LabelHand does not process refunds. All refund requests and quality concerns must be addressed with the individual contractor. LabelHand may assist with communication in limited circumstances but is not responsible for outcomes.
- Use at Your Own Risk: Any items handled (e.g., food, drink, skincare, crafts, or merchandise) are the responsibility of the independent contractor. Buyers assume all risks when choosing to consume or use products that were packaged or prepared by another party.
Seller Agreement
By listing services on LabelHand or accepting work through our platform, you agree to the following terms. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of these terms, and no signature is required.
- Independent Contractor Status: All participants offering services through LabelHand are independent contractors—not employees, partners, or representatives of LabelHand. You are solely responsible for managing your work, communications, and tax obligations.
- Liability & Indemnification: Contractors agree to indemnify and hold LabelHand harmless from any legal claims, customer complaints, or damages that result from your services or interactions with buyers.
- Fulfillment & Quality: Contractors are expected to maintain a high standard of service and fulfill tasks in a timely manner. Repeated issues may lead to removal from the directory or denial of future listings.
- Dispute Resolution: Disputes between you and a buyer should be handled directly. If payments are made through PayPal or a third-party service, that platform’s resolution process applies.
- Legal Compliance: Contractors are responsible for following all relevant laws, safety regulations, and industry standards when providing services. This includes proper handling of food, products, or tools if applicable.
LabelHand provides an opportunity for flexible, independent work and service access. We do not mediate contracts, set pricing, or supervise transactions. Use of this platform means you agree to work professionally and at your own discretion, following these shared expectations.
